Indications

Clostridioides difficile-associated diarrhea.

Dificid For Oral Suspension Dosage and Administration

Adult

Use tabs. ≥18yrs: 200mg twice daily for 10 days.

Children

<6months: not established. Use oral susp. Give twice daily for 10 days (w. oral dosing syringe). 6months–<18yrs (4–<7kg): 80mg; (7–<9kg): 120mg; (9–<12.5kg): 160mg; (≥12.5kg): 200mg (as oral susp or tabs if able to swallow).
